Could it be wrong? Serious answers only.?

Can urine tests be wrong when testing for pregnancy? I took three at-home tests, two were negative and one positive. I then went to the Women's Clinic and the urine test there was negative. I am almost two weeks late, however. I know all the reasons your period can be late and everything, but I have had my period for 9 years and I have never been late. Should I just get a blood test? or wait longer?

I've never heard of a test being false positive at the doctors office. I think you should wait for your next period because if you are pregnant you are just going to have to wait anyway because you'd only be like 6-7 weeks possibly. I took EPT test and I was confused because the lines were faint... doesn't matter though. The ClearBlue preg test is awesome.. it tells you PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. Take prenatal vitamins and drink a lot of water.

    Good luck

Was the positive test the last one that you took? I've heard that false negatives early on are common, but false positives are very rare. I'd wait a few more days and take another - have you tried the EPT (early pregnancy test) brand?

check to see if there are leash laws in your area, if there is, he was in violation of them by letting the dog run loose, no matter HOW it got out! It was nice of you to try and protect the dog from getting hurt or hit by a car, if the man can not appreciate that, well hes just being a butt! A person can take another person to small claims court for about any reason, so he may try to do that , if he thinks he can get money out of you. Hopefully you have kept track of the times the dog was out, if you write that on a calendar and the times, the court will take that as evidence of the dogs getting out on a regular basis. If you did not do that, as some of us would not think to do it (I didnt when this happened to us once, but did after that anytime we had a loose dog problem!), if you have anyone else outside your family who had seen the dog loose, they could be a witness for you if he should take you to court. I dont see the court making you pay for the dog as it was NOT your fault the dog disappeared... nor your fault the dog continually got loose. You were only being a good neighbor, unfortunately some people can not appreciate that! Check with your local animal control, maybe others have talked to them about this dog running loose, and if so, theres the evidence you need to prove it was not a one time thing with the dog! Best of luck with this, and next time they get a dog,if it escapes from thier yard also, just write it all down on your calendar and if you can, take video or pix of the dog being loose!

I have had a false positive I know people say it can't happen but it did. The cheap equate brand gave me a false positive and then went to the doc the next day and I wasn't..

A negative isn't always a negative, but a positive is never a negative. Sorry if you were hoping to not be pregnant.

it is more likely to have a false neg. than a false pos. I would go have a blood test done, they are always right,

Yeah, they can obviously be wrong...because you can't be pregnant and not-pregnant at the same time. You should definitely get a blood test - the sooner you know, the better for the fetus.

i would wait to see if you come on your next due period, then if not take another test, as it may be too early
