hey, i have to do the exact same thing for school :) MLA format is the way you set up your bibliographyand such. here are a few rules:
dont cite things as footnotes. if you need to cite something, put it right afterwards in brackets. for books, it would be like - (author pg number). for websites, it would just be the website is brackets.
the bibliography is complicated to do, as it needs exact commas in some places and whatev, so i do it online. its really simple! you just go to www.easybib.com, choose the type of source you used, and you type in the information you have. once you are done, you just copy and paste it, or print it!
its really simply once you get the hang of it :):):)
hope i helped

Cite only the web site you used. That was your source. Think of this analogy: you consulted a textbook as part of your research. At the back of this textbook are 7 pages of references that the book's authors consulted as they were writing the book or quoted within the book. Would you cite the textbook or the textbook plus the 7 pages of references?

The OWL at Perdue is a website that I send my students to if they still don't "get it" when we discuss MLA format.
It should have all of the information you need. :)
