Proper pronunciation of this baby name?

It's pronounced Nu-vell, but just so you know, in French, it is not a baby name, it's an adjective. French is my native language, and basically, it's as if I named my child New. Obviously, for people who don't speak French, it's just an uncommon name, but given that I already use the word, I'm really not a fan of using it on a baby, but hey, that's my opinion!

Nouvel is Nou- vey. Nou is not Noo, it's like No with a slight 'u' sound at the ending. French don't usually pronounce their 'l's if they end the word. However for Nouvelle, The 'l' sound will be pronounced as it ends with an e and has a double 'l'. The french word 'vieille' is pronounced Vie -Elle, so Nouvelle will be almost spoken phonetically.

Well in french Nouvelle means "new" (feminine) and Nouveau is masculine. So Nouvel is either non-existent or some American with no concept of the french language made it up. NEW-VELLE
