How can I get back stuff that was erased that I was typing ? I accidentally hit one or two buttons ....?

I hit one or two buttons accidentally on my computer key pad and it made mozilla firefox close out almost instantly and I lost all of what I had typed on yahoo mail.Is there a way to retrieve this or make it come back. on ? It really is quite maddening to say the least.I'm not even sure what buttons I hit but I would like to know so I can watch out for them and I would love to know if there is a way to bring it all back up so I don't permanently lose all my stuff I'm writing.Help please !

No its not possible to get the text back seeing as the window was closed if it went to another page you could attempt to go back and it might still be there and or use ctrl Z if it was deleted by a select all. However pulling something like that back up after the window closes is impossible without third party software. If you want to look into software like that you might want to look for software that keeps track of your clipboard.

No. If you were type up something in a web form (like I am doing write now responding to your question) that text is stored temporarly within your computer's RAM if you close your web browser without saving what you wrote then that information is lost.

If you had not quit your web browser but had accidently deleted what you were typing while still in the mail page you could have used the CTRL+Z keyboard shortcut command to undo the changes that lost your text.

But closing out the browser completely, that information is just gone.

You should use a text file program like Wordpad, Notepad, or MS Word to type out important stuff and then cut and paste it on to the internet, its much safer.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to get what you typed back, but you may have pressed Alt and F4 at the same time, which could close a program.
