For example: Do you NOT have sympathy for smokers who develop lung cancer? Do you NOT have sympathy for people who experience discrimination due to race, gender, etc..

I have a great deal of sympathy for people with some of the many addictions....However child abusers in their many form get no sympathy whatsoever, and nor should they....

To me, that's like saying .. "He died, while taking the bus home .. he knew there would be a chance of dying in a crash ... but he took the bus anyway, so, I don't have any sympathy for him". I have sympathy for everyone .. just the way I am.

If people get injured doing some extreme sports thing,racing,swimming in deep water with sharks,etc.What do they expect?If you don't put yourself in these positions,you don't need to worry.
