Please don't recommend herbal supplements, diet, exercise, self help books or meditation. I have found no relief from any of those things.

I've been on Ativan (too addictive), klonopin (stopped working) and now 5mg of Xanax XR. The Xanax is STILL not enough even though I take a pretty high dose. I'm getting fed up with the anxiety/paranoia I feel.

I have psychotic major depression and take 30mg Abilify, 40mg Prozac (will be raised soon) and 200mg Lamictal. In the past, I've tried Zoloft, Lexapro and Effexor, none of which did much for my depression and did NOTHING for the anxiety/panic disorder.

I know there are a lot of benzos out there but I'm beginning to feel my tolerance is now too high for them. Is that possible?

Is there a much stronger medication for anxiety that is NOT a benzo? Has anyone else had problems with this?

I'm currently prescribed 10mg of Ambien a night. It does nothing for me. It still takes forever for me to fall asleep and I'm wide awake again after about 2 hours. I emailed my doctor about this problem and he said that the next time I see him he will prescribe Ambien CR which may help me stay asleep longer. I've also tried taking Trazodone which gave me nothing but a splitting headache the next day. I've been prescribed Ativan and klonopin in the past for anxiety/panic disorder but benzos do not help me sleep either. I currently take 4mg of Xanax extended release which also does not help with the insomnia. My insomnia is fairly new and seems to be brought on by my prescription for Lamictal (for mood swings/depression). I've tried Melatonin and it does nothing for me either.

My question is, is there a lethal dose of Ambien or does it depend on your weight? (I weight about 135 lbs) I searched 'Ambien overdose' and all I could come up with were symptoms of overdose, none of which I have. I need to sleep NOW and I can't so I took 30mg of Ambien and nothing is happening yet. I tried 20mg last night and I could hardly stay in bed.

How many milligrams of Ambien are considered to be possibly lethal? I don't want to die, I just want to get some sleep. What is the highest amount of Ambien you can take for sleep WITHOUT overdosing?

Any words of wisdom? I emailed my doctor back about what I'm going through now and he won't respond until Monday at the earliest.

I've been taking 300mg Effexor XR, 30mg Abilify, 4mg klonopin and now 25mg of Lamictal for mood swings that have developed within the past few months. My psych assured me the med combo was safe but I'm concerned about side effects. He warned me of a rash that may appear if my dose is too high. Has anyone taken this combo of meds before or any similar combo and how well did your body adjust to it? I've been diagnosed with major depression with psychotic features, anxiety/panic disorder, PTSD and mild OCD. Recently my meds have not seems to be helping and that's why he added the Lamictal. Any opinions? I'm curious about other's experiences with this med.

My lack of faith in a God is not a positive denial of a God. I believe in a power greater than myself yet I do not know what that is. It may be a tree it may be Jesus it may just be the universe itself. All I know is that I am not the most powerful being in existence. I get angry when people say I have to choose a side. Why am I not allowed to say I believe it's unknown? I know I have no clue what's going on and I think that qualifies me as an agnostic. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm wondering how you deal with it and what medications you are on if any. I'm on Effexor, Abilify and Klonopin and I find it works well for me. I'm curious about your thoughts on this disorder.

Does anyone know how long you can live with 2 leaking heart valves when surgery is not an option? This is for someone who is overweight and in poor general health.

Mine was $173 and I have a 4 room apartment.

My mom always told me it was and now that I'm an adult, I still think I'll somehow get electrocuted or something. Why is that something she told me not to do? Is it outdated and weird? Anyone else stay away from the shower if there is lightning?
