My father and grandfather were/are alcoholics. I am too but I'm sober now.

Yes it does. My mother and grandmothers on both sides. I am always very careful with alcohol because I've seen first hand what it can do to you.
I am so, so glad you're sober. Congratulations! It can completely wreck your life. My parents missed divorce by an inch. Fortunately my mother became sober and they were able to get their marriage back on track.

Yes, both my grandfathers and my father as well. I'm not much of a gambler, so I avoid temptation and don't drink.

Thankfully no, but most of my family enjoy a drink, but no-one is an alcoholic.

Yes, on my father's side of the family. They can't seem to let go of liquor. Then they get out of control.
