Job interview tomorrow?

Hiya I have a job interview tomorrow in a busy restuaraunt in a bar.

Its my first interview...any tips on clothes and all that.

I'm scarded he'll try catch me out with trick questions such as 'name 3 times when you've shown leader ship' or something,

What should I expect

Update:

Dont worry about it! Wear black trousers and a shirt or something reasonably smart.

My friend had an interview and they asked if she had any questions and she said "when do I start?!" but what she meant to say was along the lines of how soon are they looking to get someone! Then she got all embarrassed in case they thought she was arrogant and thought the job was hers before it was offered! But even after this, she still got the job! They thought she was funny!

Remember that they will be looking for someone good with customers, and so they will decide this by how you talk to them so be friendly and relaxed where possible

    Good Luck for tomorrow!

    :o)

Edit: If they ask that, you say that you can bring great customer service skills. You can say you have personal experience of eating in restaurants where the staff are busy chatting instead of helping you, and that because you have been a customer, you have a good idea of how customers like to be treated.

Wear something smart...not a mini skirt...nice clean blouse and skirt. Look clean and tidy and if you have long hair tie it back. You won't be asked trick questions I don't think. Just be natural...remember you are doing him a favour going for the interview...it is a 2 way thing!

    Good luck.

unless the job is in a junkyard or something like that, I would not wear jeans but what you should wear depends on the job you are going for. if you know what the employees there wear try to dress to that level or a step better but slacks and a polo shirt would be an absolute minimum.slacks and a button down shirt would be better

You know what? Wear something smart, have clean finger nails - nice make up but not too much. Tidy hair and dont smoke before you go in as he will smell it. Be nice and I reckon you would have won the battle! Oh, and dont chew gum. Good luck!

just wear something smart and not too over the top, like a nice pair of trousers possible black or a dark colour and a blouse, nothing too provocative and to be honest i doublt if they will try and catch you out . probable just questions about your education and ambitions, previous jobs and possible your hobbies.

i always used to say chess and reading books, wastn true but i thought it sounded good lol.

They shouldn't try to throw you any trick questions - they are looking for fun, personable people that would handle people and pressure situations well, so don't worry about it.

I would read this cheat sheet on interviewing - should help you.
