Motor Mount Broken? Or something worse?
I have a 1995 Buick Century with 88K, well-maintained. It vibrates a lot, I can feel it in the chassis. Seems to be worse when idling, in reverse, at low speeds. But worse in Park and In Reverse. At higher speeds (25-55) it is less noticible. The engine is not misfiring. When I look at the engine, one side seems to vibrate more than the other. What's the consensus, Yahoo family?
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow to make my stinky leather flats not so stinky?
I have a pair of leather flats that I used to wear quite often. I got them out since we have spring weather again, and they're still stinky! How do I get rid of the odor? I don't want to wear socks with them, that would look stupid. And I try not to wear them 2 days in a row, since I know that you need to let your shoes dry out so bacteria doesn't grow. But how do I get rid of the OLD smell? They're still like new except for the smell! These are the only shoes I have that do this, I don't have any type of foot odor problem or disorder....
1 AnswerOther - Health1 decade agoHow to get smell out of baby bottle?
Hubby left a few of my baby's bottles in his car wit a little formula in them for a few days. I cleaned them out and ran them through the dishwasher and sterilized them, but they still have that lingering sour milk smell. How do I get rid of it? I'm afraid to use bleach. These are the hard plastic Soothie bottles.
17 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat Breed?
Obviouisly the most dominant breed in my sweet pooch is Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but what else does anyone see? Her body and face are completely corgi except her ears don't stand up, and she has a very spitz-ish short curved tail.

4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoThe Queen's Corgis?
If the queen is at an event or an official meeting and she has to break wind, do they usher her out of the room, does she just let it fly and everyone pretends it didn't happen, or does she blame it on the corgi?
6 AnswersDogs1 decade agoTwo dogs are good buddies. They get in fights for no reason. Anyone else?
My two dogs get in fights, mostly about food or toys, so we've tried to avoid those situations by feeding seperately, making sure they only get special things like bones when they're in their crates. They've been together a month, and they love playing and rough-housing, but sometimes they get in fights and break skin on each other, though this hasn't led to anything serious.... yet... because we're always around to break it up. We don't leave them together unsupervised. Has anyone else been through this?
10 AnswersDogs1 decade agoNew dog playing too rough with resident dog?
We just introduced a dog to our home where we alredy have one dog. They are getting along, kinda, and I know it will take time. They do want to play together, but they engage in really rough play, biting, standing on hind legs while biting, wrestling. One of the dogs frequently lays on her back and exposes her belly which makes me think she must be accepting her position as the submissive dog. However, the dogs play for about 10 minutes and then get too wound up and end up starting to get truly aggressive and we break them up before a full-fledged fight breaks out. Is this rough play (up until they get too aroused) a good thing? Will it help them acclimate to each other and establish their relationship? Or are we just encouraging them to fight if we allow this type of play?
2 AnswersDogs1 decade agoCan my two dogs get along??? I have a 2 year old spayed corgi mix, and we brought home a 1 year old retreiver
I have a 2 year old spayed corgi mix, and we brought home a 1 year old retreiver mix. Both are very nice gentle girls, and the retreiver is particularly obedient, as retreivers tend to be. We had a great intro off-leash at the shelter with lots of play. They rough-housed playfully together at home for 90 minutes when we got the girls home. Resident corgi established dominance by mounting, and the retriever layed on her back during play and exposed her belly, so I thought we were doing great. We're keeping the new dog crated and the resident dog in the kitchen behind a gate until they learn their manners. Last night things escalated, and I had to break up a near-catastrophic dog fight. They got ahold of each other about 3 different times. Things started out so well, is this a natural hiccup or a sign that things are going south? Can this work?
