How to make my stinky leather flats not so stinky?
I have a pair of leather flats that I used to wear quite often. I got them out since we have spring weather again, and they're still stinky! How do I get rid of the odor? I don't want to wear socks with them, that would look stupid. And I try not to wear them 2 days in a row, since I know that you need to let your shoes dry out so bacteria doesn't grow. But how do I get rid of the OLD smell? They're still like new except for the smell! These are the only shoes I have that do this, I don't have any type of foot odor problem or disorder....

First: spray the insides with a disinfectant such as Lysol.
Next: after they are totally dry, if odor persists, dust (liberally) the insides with baking soda.
Finally: if that doesn't work, see if you can find a commercial product to use. I think they are made by Dr. Scholl and Odor Eaters.
