What do you think?

If two friends are at the grocery store on busy day, one takes a space in the long line. This line continues to grow. The friend that holds the line calls her friend to take the space with the grocery and is told by the person behind that she was in the line but not the grocery. What is your take on this? Should her grocery be cashed b4 the next person's grocery or should she & her friend go to the back of the line?

Update:

I'm sorry but two persons misunderstood that the persons went to the supermarket >together<. In the croud 1 holds the line while the other brings the grocery. Therefore those behind will have to wait there turn.

I honestly don't see why it would matter to the person behind the person holding the line.

If they came to shop together and these two friends forgot to get something it should only be natural that one goes to grab it with the cart (because it may be too heavy to carry) while the other waits in line.

I think that the person behind the person holding the line should bite his or her tongue.

It isn't like either of these friends completely cut the line; one was standing there to begin with.

Everyone wants to get out of there quickly, and not everyone has a friend with them to stake out the speed of another line. So, when someone chooses a line, they also look at the people who are ahead of them to approximate how long it will be before they get through.

So, if this friend is holding 1 item or none (like if they're gonna buy cigs) to pretend that's all they're gonna buy, and out of nowhere they get a cartful of items , people behind that person have every right to be angry at the ploy.

That ploy is incredibly inconsiderate of others. I don't understand why you even had to ask...unless it was you who was tricked with this tactic, then yeah, they should be kicked to the back of the line pronto.
