Help with styling bangs?

ttp://www.prohaircut.com/gallery/mandy_moore1_l_7579.jpg

I just recently got my bangs cut, somewhat like in this picture.

I'm awful at styling them. I always think I'm getting it right, then they do something weird.

Can anyone give me some good tips (or good detailed instructions) on how to style my bangs to look good? (like in the picture, maybe somewhat modified if you have good suggestions)

Thanks :-)

Update:

if the pic doesnt work...they are just side swept bangs...cut just below my eye.

try blow drying them with a round brush then using the straightener on them

You should probably buy a straightner, or a bit of gel. (Gel is probably better, as it is cheaper and doesnt mess up if it rains!) Just take the gel, grab the peice of hairs you want and then dip your fingers in the gel (but not too much!) then run your fingers over the bangs, and it will help keep them in place and look shiny! Hope i helped. Also, if your looking for Up-Dos then try messy buns in the back and the side and a side braid, always works with sideswept bangs!

  • the picture cant come out, but if u have curly hair then always straighted it or else it would look horrible, and if it is straight then clip a little bit of it to the side, and if u have a chinese bang thiing, then straighten it!!!!!

    Good luck!!!
