Is there a GPS device that can be used on the road for directions and also on the golf course for yardages?
I know there are items like Sky Caddy that can be used on the golf course but was just wondering if anyone makes a device that I can use day to day for directions but that can be programmed to work on the golf course too.
Actually, they do work that way. There are devices such as Sky Caddy that use GPS to tell you how far you are in yards to different places (green, bunkers, etc.) on the course. I'm just wondering if there is a regular, handheld GPS for my car that I can download or program for the golf course too.

I'm guessing you want a GPS to tell you how far away the pin is on the golf course - right? If so, GPSs don't work that way.
