it could be just a growth spurt, which only last a few days. if you see the problem persisting than he might be developing bad sleeping habits.

If it doesn't seem to be just a phase you should maybe try a sleeping "program" - many books out there to get him to sleep 4-6 hours again. For now i say wake up and feed him when necessary, I KNOW IT"S TOUGH!!!, i'm still scared to have my second baby because of how hard those times were, but it passes!!! If it doesn't pass you can try maybe a pacifier, an ounce or 2 of warm water instead of milk, just rocking him rather than nursing him back to sleep. letting him cry a little could help too.

It's tough when no one can tell you the solution, all of us first time mommies have to go through this. We survived (sometimes i wonder how lol).

If he's over 14lbs he theoretically no longer needs night feeds. so unless it's a growth spurt there's no reason for him to be hungry.

    Hang in there

Growth spurt, He needs to cluster feed. It's normal. I went through it too. It's hard to get up every few hours, but he needs the food. Shouldn't last too long.

Sounds like a growth spurt.... keep on feeding him. He'll be back to normal soon :)
