First of all to durden, these are pits and the price should be no issue. I feel like there should be interviews with possible families simply because anyone can pose to be a good family, but people lie also, and put on a fake facade. Like the man who was getting free dogs from CL and selling them to those testing labs, and selling them to people who use dogs as bait. He would take his family and pretend to love animals. And about the cameras' pictures that you mentioned at a time like this, sometimes they reset themselves since they are digital you know. Don't put more pressure on a person. These people are looking for help not hassle.
As far as the due date, I would count from the day you saw them locked fifty days. The only reason I say fifty is because you would rather be early than late, and you can set a day for you to be prepared by, not for the actual birth, but at the last minute you don't want to have to run to grab towels or something from the store (lame example =}). Gestation is usually between 60-64 days. If you cannot remember the day, I say fifty because you can be in the ball park, and be ready for anything in that amount of time. I think they are adorable, and I would be interested as well. Take good care of them and their mama and papa as well.

The gestation period for a dog is about 63 days and your dog is already very large and starting to show some milk let-down. I would say that you are probably right about the day of conception (or at least very close) because they don't typically even begin to show very much until about week 5. My best guess would be that you will be having puppies in about a week. It is unfortunate that you didn't have them fixed prior to this accident, but at least you are being responsible enough to try to make up for it by altering the pups and both parents now. Please, do be very selective in finding families for your babies and only adopt to responsible families that can provide you with veterinary references and are familiar with the breed. Also, I would suggest you talk to your veterinarian about what to expect for the delivery and what to do if there are any problems (you should know how long she can go between pups, what kind of discharge to expect, what to do with stillborn puppies...etc..). You should also make sure you have the phone number and directions to an emergency clinic nearby incase there are complications. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy your new babies. Be sure to give them lots of love and attention, and begin socialization early in order to ensure they are good breed ambassadors. Also, talk to your vet about when it will be safe to begin taking them out and socializing them, and where it would be okay to take them.
P.S. Very pretty dogs! I am especially keen on ur male. If I didn't have two pibbles of my own and one foster I would definentally be interested in a pup. Good luck on finding those kiddos homes. My foster was a rescue and she was pregnant when she was found in an abandoned trailer. Finding good homes for those puppies was not easy. I suggest you start now and take deposits, but don't let them go until 8wks.

i think ur female is absolutely gorgeous and i usaually hate the look of a big ugly pit bull
i dont think she should be too much further away from giving birth however i would not get the puppies fixed!!!
the puppy has to be a certain age before it can be done and so you would have to keep them this long. the longer you keep a pup the more of a dog it becomes, the bigger it gets the less amount of people want them. i would ask your vet at what age they can be weened and then sell them at the youngest possible ag as there are always people looking for puppies and as sad as it might be for you to see them go, its a better chance in the long run for the dogs. unless you want to keep the pups i wouldn't recommend i think theres a limited amount of dogs you can have anyhow.
get the pups immunized they sell them, if your vet told you to wait and get them fixed then hes just money hungry and
doesn't care about your dogs
im no dog breeder, but ive bred rabbits and she is looking pretty big. and the whole selling them as babies trust me, i give up my baby bunnies a week before due and they sell before any of the big ones because they're cuter and can be trained, they havn't learnt bas habits. same as a dog
good luck with it all it will be exciting for you and sad and a great experience to learn about

My first question is: Why are the pics dated 1/1/07 if they hooked up 2/27th???
Next: Figure late April/early May for the pups arrival
Do your Pits have a good temper? Are they good with other dogs? Are they registered with AKC? Will you let the pups go at a low price since this was an "oops" litter and they all need good homes?
I think you'll have some pretty pups out of a blue nose and red nose and the red/white and blue should produce some interesting colors. Personally, I'd love to see pics when they are born.
Get an x-ray or ultrasound when she's approx 53 days along so you know how many pups to expect. Just in case there is a problem you'll know how many are left.
Good Luck!

Just count about 61 days after they tied, thats when you should expect the puppies. And vets wont "fix" puppies, they have to be a certain age, 6 months for somebreeds and uip to a year for others.
