If China can built one of the largest and sophiscated airport in the world in 4 years, i wonder how long will Malaysian govt. takes to tackle the problems with land acquisition, design and the price of the materials......

Don't worry. PM will announce the revival of the project with much better design complete with a scenic tower on top of the bridge before the next general election.

Why change of mind now ? Do you mean there were no studies undertaken as to the suitability previously ? E.g., no cost-benefits studies ? No economic impact evaluation ? The project was to be implemented blind ? Just like kids making sand castles ?.... and GB moonlighting ? Maybe-maybe it invloves Petronas....?

correction, it has not been cancelled but postponed due to problems with land acquisition, design and the price of the materials. the project will stil go on but it will be completed much later than its expected date. could be between 2012 - 2014.

as a sore loser, bn will do things to ensure failure of dap, pkr and pas in penang. after all, sabotage is the game of politics.

For healthy democracy, BN needs rest and hand over power to give the opposition and spends time in developing policies suited to the modern world and dynamic leaders with vision. If a party rules for 50 years, it gets tired and becomes arrogant.

wasnt quite sure whats the issues surrounding the bridge. bit overall i am just going to believe bn will do anything for the benefit of the people. maybe the revenue fund runs out of money, we all know where this money has gone
