How to fix write protected Flash Drive?

Ok so I ****** up. I accedently clicked the zip file i was trying to transfer to another PC and it seems to have extracted to the zip drive. It was a driver zip and I guess its write protected cause now i can't write anything to the flash drive or delete anything. I have tried formatting also and get the same message about it being write protected. Anyone got any ideas on how I can fix it?

I'm not sure which flash driver you are using. Some come with a small switch attached to write protect the flash drive.

right now there is nothing u can do but i think when you use up all the available space on the flash drive it will erase the write protected stuff to make room for more
