Why can't anyone on Y!A spell or punctuate properly?

You'd think they would use the spellchecker if they weren't sure, wouldn't you? Don't they teach English as a subject at school any more? Particularly in the ol' US of A, apparently not! Oh, and, yes, I am a bit of a pedant about this!

    They're just lazy and don't realise that if the degradation of the language continues they will not always be understood. Misunderstandings can be dangerous to your health or job prospects. Practising good english makes it second nature and so when you need to say *exactly* what you mean you have the tools to do the job. It's like anything else; the more you do it, the better you get.

    because its just yahoo its not like its a school essay or something lol and we all have our own way of typing .some people just make up their own lil abbreviations and people understand it sooooo...
