Am I entitled to half of EVERYTHING?

We married in 2002, separated and, dismissed the divorce this month and now he wants to divorce AGAIN

    Some states do what's called equal distribution, essentially splitting joint property (not necessarily "everything". Other states do what's called equitable distribution - basically the judge decides what he or she thinks is fair if you can't agree.
