Collection Drive for Charity?
Help!!!!
I've joined the Avon's Breast Cancer Walkathon. Besides requesting donations, what would be a great idea to do to collect funds? I thought, maybe selling candy. But ugh, everybody seems to do that.

An auction. The group of women that I belong to did an auction. and raised thousands of dollars.
Ask other women who belong to the group to donate an item or items worth auctioning, put a price on them (not before doing your homework to have an aproximate sale price of the item, ebay, msn, etc can give you an idea.) 1 month before the auction sell tickets, and plan the event.
On the day of the event it can either be a silent auction or a bidding auction your choice. i find bidding auctions more exciting. You can see who is bidding against you and if you want the item well you can bid higher. This is more animated, and more exciting. think it over and let me know what you think.

There should not be a charity tension. Obama could have the money for to proivde for all the desires of his brother. He can gain this with only $50 according to month. His brother might desire to stay the good existence in Kenya with $50.
