I purchased a cheap large paperback cookback back in the late 70's early 80's. I may have purchased at Zayre's- remember the store? I didn't take care of it and not only ar the front and back covers gone, but so are the first 18 pgs and many of the last pages. The green spine of ."e book shows the title to be "the international COOKBOOK." There are a ton of books by this name, however, my book has a list of recipes in this order: Viennese, Italian, Polish, Czecholovak, Chinese, Greek, German, French, Jewish, Scandinavia and Mexican in that order. It also has a scattering of color pictures: pg 65 has pics of Italian antipasto and mozzarella cheese sandwhiches, pg 163 has pics of chicken with dates, wonton soup and egg rolls, pg 233 has a pic of bamberger meat and cabbage casserole and pg 33 has pics of lucia bread, lefser and fishballs. I've had the book for a long time and love it. I would like to find it again and have tried- but nothing. I hope someone has the same book and is able to give me the pertinent infor ie publisher, year etc.

I recently had walleye at Sarrento's in WI Dells. It was fried and then topped with asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. Does anyone have this recipe?

I've checked so many engines, including sites mentioned here and nothing. I get clips or end up in other search engines. AMC's site does not have the episodes. What they have are written summaries of the episodes. UGGHHH

A while back there was an advertisement on TV for a spray that worked great on glass scratches. I believe they used on eye glasses. The scratches seemed to disappear. Does anyone know about this spray? Does it really work?

For SVU, where online can I see past episodes of this show? I'm looking for "AVATAR" AND "ALTERNATE" (?) with Cynthia Nixon. Also, nbc nor usa have episodes for L & O Criminal Intent. Does anyone know of a page that does?

Jewel food stores carries a Honey Chicken salad in their fresh deli section. Does anyone have that recipe? It has nuts, raisings etc. I don't want a similar one, I want the real deal. tx

My garden's in shambles. I planted flowers, vegetables and herbs. But most of the leaves have been eaten. The flower petals too! It started with a few little holes in the leaves, next thing you know, the only things left are the stems. My local hardware store recommended a liquid a that is mixed with water when attached to the water hose. It says not to use on lettuce and the like. I don't see much difference after I used it. Also, whatever I use has to be safe for the veggies and herbs. Help!

Old movie/ mature man and woman meet on vacation/holiday, they fall in love but alas! they're married and not to each other. They promise and meet once a year to continue their love affair without hurting their spouses.

I saw this movie years ago: A (british?)middle aged woman is completely bored with her non existent life and her husband. She fixes his dinner and leaves a note that she's gone on holiday to greece. Once there she comes to life, has a torrid affair and finally starts enjoying life. Her husband comes looking for her, but it's too late. There's a beautiful scene where she is sitting at a table by the beach, she's changed so much her husband is walking past her not recognizing her. She stays in greece working at a cafe.

The Let them eat cake (bakeries/delis) were all over downtown Chicago. One day they just all closed. I loved their cheesecake. I've tried everything to get a copy of the recipe, from posting in the newspaper to getting in touch with the company... but alas! nothing.
