Scratches on eyewear?

A while back there was an advertisement on TV for a spray that worked great on glass scratches. I believe they used on eye glasses. The scratches seemed to disappear. Does anyone know about this spray? Does it really work?

There is No true way to remove or make scratches better. That spray only might slightly fill in any scratches you may have, that will only either make your lenses foggy or do nothing. You cannot buff scratches out either because your lenses are made with your prescription and if you try to buff them out your prescription could get distorted and you will not be able to see. Your best bet next time is to get Polycarbonate lenses, which are essentially be more scratch resistant, and also add extra scratch coating, such as TD2 scratch coating.

And secondly if you went to a reputable optical office you should have a one year warranty for any kind of scratches.

Your best option is to do research online about all different types of materials because most retail chains charge you for name brand and give you whatever they have in stock, even the prescription closest to yours...
