Gas Prices?

With gas prices at almost $4.00 a gallon. You will think in about another year we wouldn't be able to afford to drive our own cars. What's your opinion on this?

People will keep paying it. They have no choice their lives revolve around their cars.

I understand that the US has as much of an addiction for cars as the uk, i.e. a lot of people will jump in the car just to go to the shop at the end of the road. If high petrol (gas) prices make people think twice before they do this then it is not necessarily a bad thing. However if you mean that we are all being squeezed dry paying for essential transport then I agree we may all be riding bicycles next year. However you may want to get some ideas from the website below.

I think people will buy it no matter what the price if they can get it.....I mean if its available and they can get a credit card to buy it....the best way to cut gas comsumption wouldnt be a complex rationing system, but rather make it where you have to pay cash for gas....no credit allowed...that will seperate the men from the boys

Quit using gas, there are plenty of other fuels out there. It's really simple.
