It sounds like the man understands the ramifications of choosing someone much younger than he as a possible mate. I don't agree with his reasoning (his son would kill him...it's none of the sons business, unless the younger girl is a gold digger). If your friend is older (closer to the mans age) maybe she would be a better companion...if not, then she's getting involved where she maybe shouldn't. It's also difficult to say that the other two characters are completely honest...your friend may be...but, unless she knows them personally...she's taking a very big chance...be careful.

Hun, your story is very confusing. You say that she lives in his apartment but also lives in a different city??? HUH?? and you keep saying she and me and my friend without claryfying who exactly you are talking about..... its hard to follow. Try and leave out unnecessary details and re-word maybe?

Err.. you're not exactly clear in what you were saying. Try making your sentances more structured and use fullstops, so I can differentiate between each sentance and understand more easily.
