Why does my 95 Lincoln Towncar have a electric cooling fan in front of the regular cooling fan.?

    Because the A/C condencer wants air flow at low speeds and at idle when the engine fan is turning slowly.

    Because of 134 refrigerant, needs to be cooled more than R 12 fefrigerant
