halal or haram?
It seems to me that some people simply don't understand or may b playing the ignorance card. Whichever the case, I’d like to know the bottom line concerning the consumption for meats.
I know pork is prohibited, I mean the certain meats we are allowed to eat, how is it really halal. Is it when it's slaughtered in the name and sacrifice to Allah, or the intent of eating, example: hunting, united stares meat factories like Tyson foods?
My uncle works at a meat factory in Nebraska, where Indian groceries are rare, since it is damn expensive for the halal ones at the Indian store, he tends to establish the idea that it is ok to eat the factory slaughtered meat, which is no way halal, because of course that do not recite the slaughter ritual. now I’m in a great deal of pressure, I live in his house and for the most part obey certain rules but when it comes to food, he is a **** head and says it would be unappreciative to Allah, I’m an strict individual and i never eat at school cafeteria.

Well .. some people say that since it was okay to eat the meat of Christians .. its okay to eat in states .. which SOMEHOW they say is a Christian country.
But the thing is this .. along with this verse there is another verse telling u to eat Zabiha .. Jews follow the rules of Zabiha .. and so were Christians supposed to be .. since they dont eat dead meat either ... but nowadays things have changed .. they use that shooting thingie to kill an animal .. besides that u never know if there is an atheist doing the slaughtering part .. since a GREAT part of america is not Christian anymore.
Anyways ive seen this lenient approach towards food in lots of muslim families living in states as well. Allah knows best whats good and bad.
Now do a little research on it because im a little rusty... but i think there is a hadith or ruling which says that if ure eating in the house of a muslim in a non muslim country .. u ask the person .. if he says its halal .. u have to believe him.
But again make sure .. i think you still shouldnt eat it :oS try talking to him ... or become a vegetarian :P

I don't know how old you are or if you have a job.. but if not could you maybe get a part time job in order to help pay for Halal meat? A paper round even. Or maybe go vegetarian if you feel that strongly about it. It seems that a compromise would be the best thing.

Some of you here are very lucky to be able to eat what you want to, no matter how expensive.
You need to travel to parts of Africa and India where a dead rat would be cherished as food from God. Even here in the US, I have seen homeless, hungry men wondering the street searching for a meal.
While talking about what is halal and what is not, please stop for a minute and think about others who haven't eaten for a week; go walk down the street and take a homeless man home for a good, hot meal. Allah will bless you.

each and every thing of an animal it rather is halal is halal, different than the section that tactics air and touches air, like the trachea and lungs. In summation, consume evey section cept for bones, marrow, blood, and trachea and lungs.
