question for all you tree huggers/hippies...?
if you all truly care about the saving the environment (trees in particular) why don't you start by making it illegal to fill my phucking mailbox with 50lbs of useless paper??

You can request not to receive those. I would do it for you but I do not know your address. Also you can request not to receive bank statements and instead check your account online. :)

There is an extremely easy quick and easy solution to this problem - there are several free websites and 800 numbers you can call to opt of junk mail and credit card apps.
These are annoying as all get out, whether you're a "tree hugger" or not!!

i just recently heard about a do not mail list in my area which you just reminded me to look into so maybe you should too. also a lot of my junk mail is catalogs from stores i have shopped at and you can just call those companies and request they not mail their crap to you any longer

Why should they? Unless treehuggers/hippies are the ones filling your mailbox with junk, it's not their problem, its yours. Why don't you do something yourself?
