How do I reinstall Windows on my HP Pavilion?
It didn't come with a recovery disc, but I seem to remember reading somewhere when I bought the computer that the disc wasn't needed. How do I do it though?

Computers now a days (like HP) have a separate drive that is for your System recovery. it will allow you to go back to the factory settings for when you bought the computer the first day. You can get to it when you turn on the computer there will be a boot screen.....press F10 (for System recovery) It will put all the Windows operating system files back on.
If your going to do a Reformat,
theres an option that will let you copy the files from the D drive (Recovery drive) to a writable disc. (CD/DVD) Those files is what you will need in order to reinstall windows. cause when you reformat the contents that is on the Recovery drive will get wiped as well. and the files on the Discs will be needed.
