how do I keep pussy willows in my home all year long and not have them die?

Years ago my Grandmother kept the pussy willows I gave her for years. She didn't do anything special to them just stuck them in a vase without water and continued to leave them dry out. They lasted forever.

are you talking about cut pussy willows? If so- you need to dry them. hang them in a dry place ( a cloet or an attic) upside down for a week or two. This will dry them so that they will last.

When you cut them, spray the heads with hairspray. This will help keep them from opening up. Also cut them early, when they first appear. If they are too old, they will probably open.
