He doesn't need to wear a fashion accessory (and that's all a flag pin in) to show he's patriotic.

And he does place his hand over his heart when pledging to the flag. There are numerous videos out there with him do this.

GWB wears a flag pin everyday. Yet, thousands and thousands and thousands of Americans have died in an unnecessary war.

He holds his hand over his heart when it is the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE and NOT the National Anthem so get over that one. As for a lapel pin? Ask McCain and Clinton where theirs are. Not wearing one does not mean you are not Patriotic. Do YOU wear one? Aren't you all getting tired of going over the same thing? How about asking why Hillary only wears pants suits and not skirts or dresses! Scared to look too feminine??? See how stupid things can sound?
