Against because we cannot play God and do not have the right to take another's life. How dare we judge another and execute? I realize that there are people who commit heinous crtimes, but It is God's judgement that really matters and not a human's place to decide. If you really want to get into it, abortion is the death penalty for innocent children. Are they a sinner who deserves to die? No one has the authority to decide who lives and who dies.

I don't believe the Ten Commandments should be posted in as many places as possible, but they should not be removed from places of historical significance if they were part of the original architecture. They are words of great istorical significance on which many laws of modern man are based. Laws and rules are needed in society to maintain some semblance of order and in some cases the death penalty is the best punishment for societies worst, violent, pieces of crap.

It was settled long ago that the death penalty is not proscribed by the 10 Commandments.

The commandment Thou Shalt not Kill refers to the taking of an innocent life by a private citizen.

That comandment has nothing to do with a government taking the life of a guilty convicted murderer.

As a spiritual Christian i will understand why human beings would not choose their community college board working around posting the ten Commandments in the hallways of each and every college of their community. that could probably be seen as an imposition on scholars, college, and group who the two prepare yet another faith or none in any respect. And the venture is to no longer attempt to rigidity Christianity on others yet to introduce it. on the different hand I don’t have self assurance that there would desire to be regulations placed on what persons deliver right into a public college the two. So if a student wears a tee-shirt or brings a e book into college that has a conceal on it itemizing the ten Commandments they might desire to by no skill be asked to get rid of it. Likewise, if a helpful needs to place a small likeness of the ten Commandments on his table in his very own place of work the place human beings sitting throughout from him gained’t see it, then i think the 1st modification protects his perfect as a individual to accomplish that. yet, in 1995 President Clinton issued the " policies on religious Expression in Public faculties”, which outlines an incredible many regulations that would or would no longer be in violation of the 1st modification. i understand my babies by no skill worried themselves with it and by no skill had a concern or gained a grievance.

I am for 10 commandments being tatooed on children when they are born.

I am pro-death penalty because it is better to execute the sinner before they can taint the souls of others.

I am against the death penalty. Christ does not want us to kill and thus we should not kill anyone, no matter what.
