what is an easily made homemade musical instrument?

A guitar (a makeshift one) is pretty easy to make if you have any bowl and some rubber bands. Just cut each rubber band in half and attach them to the bowl with different levels of tightening, lining them up in a parallel fashion.

I used to have a friend whose name was Martín Seidel, he used his hands, (and mine too) to make in his home, in Comala, México, autentic pieces of art : clavichords, but I would not reccomend trying that!
