    What happened to Falconer?!!

Dude, I'm not a big fan ov Falconer but the are way ******* better than Dick Zombie or Dickin Park or The Dickstie Boys. (More Dick Music) lol.

After that. it's all good. We have different taste but you included some ov my favorite bands too. So that's good.

You deserve a star for taking your time to do that. I'm way too ******* lazy to do that myself, lol.

    But good list.

The whole thing feels a little confused, as if whoever compiled it changed their mind about what consitutes indie rock halfway through. It starts off stuck in 90s America, and the whole thing veers much more towards the softer, folky side of indie rock.... although there are surprises in there. But they seem randomly chucked in - The Fall really stand out as an oddity in that list (the Nation's Saving Grace is nowhere near their best album - or even their most critically acclaimed - anyway, but nevermind). Television Personalities, Swell Maps, Husker Du - great, but I agree wholeheartedly with the thread headed, "Murmur?" If you're going to include artists from that era, they've missed the obvious a bit there. But then, maybe that isn't the point. It just seems a little more like someone's personal favourite list than a top 100 of all time. And that person does have pretty good taste by my judgement. Excellent taste, in fact. Just a little narrow - but then I guess it depends on what you consider indie rock. And it seems pretty lazy to shove The National in there already. Merriweather Post Pavilion, too - it was only released earlier this year, and already it's on a best of all time list? Smacks a little of jumping on the bandwagon. Quoting from the site: "we’re not talking about punk or grunge or classic post-kraut-rock, we’re talking about indie rock." Isn't Husker Du's 'Zen Arcade' more of a punk rock record? Nice to see some locals represented! (Electrelane's 'The Power Out'). Really, simply as a list of albums, I think it's a great list. Some interesting picks, and some things it's made me want to check out. It just doesn't define indie rock, at least not for me. Change the title, and it'd be perfect. Oh, and put Aeroplane above Bee Thousand. :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Tool is so high on your list!!! But I also think Nirvana should be a little higher!!! God knows, if Kurt were still here he'd still be rockin!!! Other than that I love that Aerosmith scored on your list and think that it is awesome that you mentioned Judas Priest! Love Queen and think they have the HARDEST songs to mimick and that the folks on American Idol need to realize this and stop trying!!! (lol) And lastly...Guns & Roses would be a lot higher if it were my list!

Alright not bad but black sabbath #1 is not good. Also guns n' roses had a few good hits and should be in the top 20 at least. Aerosmith has to be in the top 10. You need more of the 70s-80s bands up more. Overall nice job though. Oh yeah rush isn't that great to me and should be moved down. #1 has to be Led Zeppelin. Whoops 1 more thing, van halen should be #2 Last Thing TOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH METAL! cLASSIC ROCK MAN!!!!!!!!

Pretty good list. And to the morons; this is his personal list, it's not supposed to be the objective all-time greatest.

Source(s): because if it was King Crimson would be on the list.

  • Overall, I'd say it's a nice list.

Although I do think Queen, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple & The Who should be a lot higher..

i think this list totaly rules!! theres a brilliant mix of metal, punk and grunge there. its pretty closely matched with the bands i would put my best 100

Not bad but I can't help but question the order on a lot of these. I also can't help but wonder how some of these bands made it on there. In the end though it my opinion doesn't matter because it's YOUR opinion. I'm guessing you were bored.
