Severe left chest, left arm,left shoulder and neck pain..what s wrong?

am a 58 year old female. For the past 4 years have gone to 9

doctors for left chest pan,left arm pan, left shoulder and left lower back pain.They have given me 800mg MOTRN, FLEXIL,

codene,and vicodn. The pain s still here. At night it is worse,stabbing pain,knife lke pain. The doctor's all say it is

bursitis........ what s wrong wth me? Why can't I heal?

    they could be right, after all a doctors opinion is way better than i web site. but i would request them to test your heart for heart attack, and maybe some other things.

    My GP sent me to hospital with severe chest pain numbness in left arm and high B/P the A/E dept. made sit for nearly 5 hours without seeing a consultant then I could not sit anymore had to go home so I can rest in my bed with the pain. though the pain is not as severe now as I am taking painkillers but still have the pain in my chest and I am worried I am 70 and this is the first time I experienced this I do not smoke or drink. Any advice thanks VJ

    i don't know anything about bursitis BUT maybe it's because of you exercising/falling

    some relitive of mine fell on the ice when skating and said it hurt like hell, even years later

    if your not happy you should get a second opinion but my mum had bursitis and had to have an injection into the joint hope this helps

    go to the emergency room , NOW . It may be a heart attack ,
