Would GS Warriors be doing better against Lakers than Denver?

I'm just curious what people think. I am a Warriors fan and I can't help but think the Warriors would be doing better against the Lakers than Denver is now. Denver seems to be playing all on emotion and not working as a team. GS when they play their A-game can beat any team.

Not to take anything away from Denver (they deserve the spot more than the Warriors due to the way they finished the season) but the Warriors would've been a better team to face the Lakers. The Lakers would most likely still win, but the Warriors would give them a tougher time simply because they match-up better than Denver.

Facts: Denver lost all three (pre-Gasol) regular season games against the Lakers. As good as Bynum is, Gasol is better. So the outcome is somewhat predictable.

GS split their series with LA 2 a piece and won one game against both Laker teams. GS only lost by 4 points (and won by that same amount) against the Gasol-Lakers, but both games were very close till the end.

In short, this is a lot like the Mavs-GS series last season, the Warriors play well against the Lakers (though I doubt they could've pulled off an upset, but it wouldn't have been impossible)

The warriors are good but the Lakers are way better then Denver. So a change in teams would not change there odds one bit.

Denver is gonna get swept tonight. Had the Lakers been playing the Warriors, I think they could've pushed it to 6 or 7 games, but the Lakers would still win

Don't deal in hypotheticals. Denver outclassed the Warriors late in the season. There's no reason to think the Lakers wouldn't have won first two games at home, and stole one in Oakland to have the same 3-0 lead they enjoy now.

OF course. Denver is having their hearts eaten out there. As a Warriors fan I have seen several close games between the two this year.

yes the Warriors would give the Lakers a run for the money cause all 5 of there starters can shoot, unlike Camby and Martin.

but the warriors will still lose.

no obviously not they didn't even make it into the playoffs...at least denver did. im pretty sure denver isn't just gonna give up tonight though. and denver beat golden state in the regular season also so it proves denver is a better team than GS

They certainly have a greater appropriate shot against the hornets. Derek Fisher gets away with a great style of touch. He can physique Paul up, like the Spurs had to do. no person on the hornets even has a huge gamble of guarding Kobe.

yeah don't deal in hypotheticals it would kinda be like what the lakers did when they signed malone and payton to accompany shaq and kobe creating the hypothetical situation of whether or not they would win the championship. that hypothetical situation became a reality though, and well we all know who won, but i digress, and I have to change my opinion and say yes the warriors would be doing better.

Melo sucks and AI and they have talent and the Nuggets can't play however the Warriors would have a chance.
