why does one audio sub sound distorted but the other is fine i m guessing it s the sub box itself?

test done on distorted sub it s ok untill i increase volume and the disortion begins is it the box needs to be replace or the sub

    depends on some things. If the testbox is the same and speakers are same, or something is different. some speakers are not able to work in some boxes, some speakers are not able to work with higher excursions - few milimeters can be limit....
