Will David Stern screw Kobe out of the MVP, because it will the city of New Orleans, if Paul wins?

Update:

Edit.

Don't underestimate Stern.

He has more input then you give him credit for. He's a snake if there ever was one.

THE MVP HAS ALREADY BEEN CAST BEFORE THE PLAYOFF AND THE MVP IS KOBE BRYANT BECAUSE HE IS THE BEST PLAYER OF THE #1 TEAM IN THE WEST AVERAGING 28.3 POINTS, 6.3 REBOUNDS, 5.4

ASSISTS, 1.8 STEALS ON 46% FG, 36% 3-POINT AND 84% FREE-THROW IN THE REGULAR SEASON!

PAUL CHOKES AND GOT EMBARRASSED LOSING 4 OF THEIR LAST 6 GAMES IN THE REGULAR SEASON THAT PUT THEM #2 BEHIND THE LAKERS!

IT'S SAD THAT THERE'S NO MVP FOR THE PLAYOFF OR ELSE KOBE WILL WIN IT AGAIN!

How can an MVP candidate lose 4 out of their last 6 games?

How can an MVP candidate's team is only #2 in the west and #4 overall?

How can an MVP candidate embarrassed by Deron Williams and Jason Kidd?

How can an MVP candidate score only 2 points on 1-10 10% FG?

How can an MVP candidate score only 4 points on 2-11 18% FG?

Kobe Bryant is averaging 28.4 points, 6.3 Rebounds, 5.4 Assists and 1.9 steals. 46% FG, 36%

    3-point FG and 84% Free-Throw.

Kobe Bryant is playing with dislocated pinky finger.

Kobe Bryant is playing without injured teammates Pau Gasol, Bynum and Ariza in most games

    this season.

Pau Gasol only played 26 games with the Lakers.

Bynum only played 35 games this season because of injury.

Kobe played all 82 games this season.

Paul has David West who is averaging 21 points and 9 rebounds per game, he has Chandler who

is averaging 12 rebounds (#3 in the NBA) and Peja Stojakovic who is averaging 17 points, 5

    rebounds and 46% 3-point FG.

Guess what? David West missed 13 games and Peja Stojakovic missed 52 games last season.

They didn't even make the playoff last year. Kobe had the same scenario this year but they

Lakers are #1 in the west!

    06-07 Hornets record: 39-43

Combined games missed by West, Chandler, Peja: 108

    07-08 Hornets record: 56-25

Combined games missed by West, Chandler, Peja: 14

That's why. Paul needs the team around him. Without them, they fall apart.

Kobe and the Lakers are #1 in the west with 57-25. The Hornets are healthy all year.

    Kobe is the MVP!

    What MVP Madsen,

i think the consensus amongst sportswriters and people you talk to in the NBA is that Kobe deserves it this year. However, a case can be made for any of the other candidates.

Kobe is the most marketable player in the NBA right now- and he's the biggest draw- so why would David Stern choose to "screw Kobe out of the MVP." At this point in the season now - i don't think Kobe is worried about the regular season MVP he definetly wants that finals MVP and another ring.

Well, since there are people voting for the MVP and it's not Stern who gets to decide it I would say NO Kobe will not be screwed b/c I don't think he's even the MVP of his own team. Without him and with Pau & Bynum I think the Lakers would be fine but without Paul I don't think the Hornets could function.

Kobe Bryant should not win Mvp this year'', and if he does then the Nba screw Chris Paul big time. also they will drop the ball. Kobe is the best player in the Nba, but he does not help his team mates get better everytime they play, but Chris Paul does. you could really see the difference how the New Orleans Hornets play without him'', for twenty minutes in a basketball game. The players start finding a hard time scoring in the basketball game , and the team start losing it and be letting the other team back into the game, to me i think the lakers will be ok without bryant'', for a few games because that team deep , but i really do think that the New Orleans Hornets would suck'', and be one of the worse teams in the Nba

Source(s): Kobe Bryant is the Best Player in the Nba'', but Chris Paul is the Most Valuable player in the NBA'', Paul should get MVP

Chris Paul is a deserving MVP candidate, look what he's done with a team that barely knew each other and no All-stars on the roster he became one and made another with his skill and leadership abilities

David Stern doesn't pick the MVP, besides Kobe doesn't deserve it anyway.
