Which artist/band have you seen them most at live shows?
Mine top one is Widespread Panic - at least 30 times
I was really into them in college when they were first starting to play out.
First time was a free show. (Went to 4 free shows total)
Second time was at a club with $12 cover
And now would have to pay at least $45 for lawn seats

I assume you mean big popular bands.....
Phish tops the list by far
then probably Dylan
then Widespread < I too have been a fan since the old days of small shows and some one on one with JB.
and then the Dead (I was only able to get in a few years with them before Jerry's death, and I don't consider the Dead the Dead anymore without him)

It would have to be the Grateful Dead. I've been to more than 120 shows, all over the U.S. That includes the very last show that Jerry played in, in Chicago. After them, it's a toss up between Phish, Widespread, The Band and Ratdog. But, I'm not all about jam bands. I've seen KISS, Nugent, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Aerosmith each at least 9 - 10 times, too.

For a long time I saw sort of against seeing bands more than once... figured if I saw them the first time and they were great that I would be setting myself up for a disappointment seeing them again.... and if they weren't so good the first time, why bother seeing them a second time?
That said, I guess it would be the Dead at 4X ~ have seen lots of groups 3X: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Oingo Boingo - WAIT!! I've seen the Rolling Stones 6-7 times* - they win.
Source(s): *volunteer usher ~ only paid to see them once, and the last show I worked I was front and center with the $450 ticket holders - some freebie - LOL! - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

Probably this local band called Franklin For Short that I really like a lot.
I suppose outside of the local scene, if you combine Pavement and Stephen Malkmus as seeing Steve Malkmus in his various forms he would probably win with about 9 or 10 times. If you split them, I've seen Pavement and Frank Black about 6 times each.

JETHRO TULL I have seen them about a dozen times since 1972 and am going to their concert again in 2 days time.
Seen a lot of the classic rock bands but love Jethro Tull and 30 odd years on feel the same excitement as i did in the 70s at seeing them again.
