David Archuleta and David Cook? What's wrong?

I see a lot of that too and I think it sucks, especially since it's obvious that they're friends. Cookie is like Archie's big brother,or something. And both of them are amazing, so I'm a rarity who loves them both. Cook is a little more my personal taste and I would love to see him win, but I wouldn't be upset if Archuleta won,as long as Cook comes in second. All I care about is that they both make it to the Finale. But,as for everyone else, I guess they all know that these 2 are the toughest competition,so they know that the other one is the biggest threat to their fave and the only contestant who could keep him from winning. So I guess it just shows how good they both are.

Totally agree with you. but not really with the person above. I think that the cook fan's are just as guilting of bashing as the archie fans are. If you look at the performances on youtube, both david's songs and viedos have the same amount of comments talking against them. The real reason for all this bashing in my opinion is because the fact that the two davids are gonna be the top two. This causes people to feel like, if arch looses, he's gonna loose to cook. and if cook looses, he's gonna loose to arch. I think this is what upsets the fans the most and causes all this fighting.

I agree. I watch American Idol lightly and I think it's stupid how i come on here and see questions like, "David Cook, is he better?" and then "David Archuleta?" and then the details are people saying, "Cook can't sing anything but rock, Archie is amazing!" and then "Archuleta doesn't sing anything but ballads and he's too innocent. Cook all the way!"

Just give them both a break, they are both great!

I know! I support David Archuleta and i only bash if Cook fans bash me first. If we would stop, there would be no bashing! They are both really talented, so why can't we grow up?

it's bc it's the biggest rivalry on the show. OBVIOUSLY the two davids are the most popular and are most likely going to the final show if the show is not rigged in some other way. so therefore, the fans on those two sides are more competitive. it's not bad bashing, it's all fun. just like sports, two rival teams are more likely to "bash" each other than pther teams are...

i like both too, but i think david cook should win. i think he will end up selling more.

i just reeeeeaaaaaally like the music david sings (the meanigful ballads) and im not a big fan or david cook's type of music. he doesnt really sing anything else. i dont bash david c, but i dont really care for him as much. im in love with david a!!

ok, so i know I bash the cook fans becuase they bash David A. So that's me, but I think if we all stopped, it would be better. They both kick as$ at singing!

Cook fans don't bash Archuletta as much. Here are a couple of reasons why;

Dave A fans are young girls. Typically they can't handle criticism.

Dave A fans know that he is not near the performer that Dave C is and this bothers them.

Dave C fans are irritated with the screaming girl effect and therefore bash Dave A.

I hope it comes down to the Davids. I did my voting last night for David C and feel good that he will be through tonight.
