How can I get this image into Microsoft Access without distorting?
I have a .jpg that is saved at 360dpi. The original size is 2764 x 709 Pixels so the Print Size (from DPI) is 19.5 x 5.0 cm.
When I import it into a Microsoft Access report and set the 'Size Mode' property to 'Clip' (which should keep the image at its original size) it comes in at the 2764x709 px size (which is massive!)
I need the image to come into access at 19.5 x 5.0cm and with a DPI of at least 300.
If I change the setting to 'Zoom' or 'Stretch' the image becomes distorted even though I am effectively downscaling the image aren't I?
Please help!!
Yes, it is an image of a company header for the top of their invoice.
I have linked to the image rather than embedding it as an OLE object but either way it doesnt seem to make a difference.
I have tried resizing but this effectively reduces the print size (from DPI) so it comes out even worse.

why dont you make the image smaller in the first place before you put it in?
Open the picture up in windows fax and picture viewer, shrink it down to the size you want, then hit print screen. Past it into paint and crop it. Then use that smaller undistorted picture to put into your report

And Image into access? You are putting an Image into a Database?
You normally don't do this (even though You can).
1. You need to change the way the image is stored.
2. You need to more just store the location of the file on the hard disc. You put the file where you want, and then just store the Location in the Database so you can retrieve it later?
