That was the fad when I was in Jr. High.

Windy, you are bringing back a lot of memories today, I remember the poodle skirts, saddle shoes and the bobby socks, and the boys with their duck tail hair cuts. My Grand daughter wants to know what we wore and i told her and she said Oh like Happy Days, It seems she has been watching Happy Days reruns, and I said yes Like happy Days and they were Happy Days.

  • I loved those. I wore my Poodle skirt often and I always had on my Bobby socks and Saddle shoes. In fact, my avatar has a poodle skirt on with bobby socks and saddle shoes too. I wish you could see her.

Yes I do. I loved my saddle shoes. Sewed my own poodle skirts too.

Jr.High, jeans were new for girls to wear, I just missed the mandatory skirt or dress law.

Many girls only wore dress pants,a very strange 70's moment lemme tell ya.
