I use a free file sharing. It limits the download jobs I can carry out to only 5 downloads per day. But I think this is fairly unreasonable. Most of the files I download are smaller files (between 10 to 200 kB). But some of my known friends download large files from that same site and so they download more than 500MB a day though I can download 50kB to 1MB . Is there an easy way to spoof my MAC address? (I use a router and an ADSL link)

Most router offer Mac spoofing. However I can't be more specific about it since you didn't mention what brand / model of router you are using.
FOr the 5 file limit... create a .zip file with all your stuff in one file.
