why when i have given a pretty damn good answer doe,s my computer "suddenly" become unable to "submit" it

It's gut-wrenching when that happens, the submit fails and your really good answer disappears.

That's happened to me a few times so now whenever I write a good or a long answer I copy and paste into Notepad temporarily while I'm previewing and submitting. That way if Yahoo loses it I've still got my answer & can try again without retyping it.

I have done the same ... unable to submit ... it's not at all related to your answer , probably just a server error , or an error in the line somewhere between your computer and the target computer ... it happens.

Really , it's not a conspiracy to stop good answers or questions !!!

either the Yahoo team removed it due to community restrictions or the asker removed it themselves

don't seat the small stuff,get you bp under control,NOT worth it

what i get ticed at [ sometimes ] is you give the best answer and the asker doesn't even have the courtesy to award a single point !

Yahoo answers has lot of server problems. Can understand why Microsoft would wona buy yahoo?

I know, I've done that, its sooooo annoying! This is obviously not going to be a problem cos its not the best of answers!
