ok, so i am 14 too and really i know you dont want to hear this but 130 pounds is perfect weight. you should aim for losing 10 pounds. 15 might be a bit too much. but anyways, heres what I would do to lose weight.

start by eating healthier. no, you dont have to diet. limit your portions, no junk food. ALWAYS eat breakfast, skipping meals wont help you lose weight! it slows your metabolism down and stores fat which makes your gain weight. start off your day with a healthy breakfast, like a serving of cheerios (100 calories) and a piece of fruit. It will keep you filled until lunch time at school. for lunch, try a whole wheat wrap with lean turkey or chicken breast, a piece of fruit, and something like almonds or 100 calorie popcorn. when you get home from school eat ONE healthy snack that will last you until dinner. things like 100 calorie popcorn or a serving of cheerios have a lot to them, taste good, and will last a while. for dinner, try things like grilled chicken salad, load up veggies, and use a little bit of light dressing, or things like grilled chicken with roasted vegetables, seafood, etc. try to cut out all junkfood, which isnt really all that hard with healthy alternatives. if you really have a sweet tooth, limit yourself to one sweet a week, or give yourself small daily treats like a serving of chocolate chips. this alone will help you lose weight. also, cut out sodas, juices, etc. replace that with water, diet soda, and low calories sports drinks like G2 from the makers of gatorade, flavored water, and fuze slenderize (20 cal and under fruit drinks)

the next key part to losing weight is exercise. if your family has a gym membership or exercise equiptment at home, use it! try doing 30-60 minutes of cardio (elliptical machine, treadmill, stairmaster, bikes, etc), then circuit training (weights) this will allow you to tone up and lose weight. if you do not have those things, dont worry. go for a run in your neighborhood. start off slow. try 1.5 miles for the first week, then 2 the second, then 2.5, then 3, until you reach however many miles you want to be able to run. at home, try doing sit ups, squats, lunges, butt exercises, ab exercises, yoga, pilaties, etc. get involved in a sport! it will keep you active and you will spend less time online, etc. aim to exercise for AT LEAST 30 minutes four times per week.

    some tips:

    - have a motavation (a bikini you want to wear, pants you want to fit into, etc) hang that up in your room so you never forget.

    - get a friend or family member to do this with you! it is much easier and more fun to exercise with a friend, and you will be able to share whats going on in your diets, etc.

    -dont ever, ever starve yourself!

things you should cut out of your diet altogether:

-white breads, rolls, etc. replace them with whole wheat wraps and bread. they taste the same, but have so many less calories

-chips, cookies, crackers. so much fat, calories, carbs, etc. simply replace them with lo cal snacks (look for things in 100 calorie packs) like popcorn, pretzels, 60 cal no sugar jello.

-pasta isnt amazing for you. dont have it too often, and when you do, use whole wheat pasta.

-soda, juices. like i said, loaded with sugar and calories. replace with things like flavored water, G2, Fuze, and plain water.

really, you are at a good weight. dont go crazy. good luck!

Eat five smaller meals throughout the day. This will keep you energized and able to burn more calories. Plus your body will not be craving food and thus storing the fat it already has as a way to ensure that you don't starve to death. If it constantly gets food, it won't be in hybernation storing mode. Breakfast should have some fruit, some protien, and some carbs. Do not skip breakfast. This gets your body the energy to burn calories. After you sleep, your body stores as much energy for the future. Once it gets something to work on, it will let go of stored fat that it was holding on to. Morning snack should be something like a piece of fruit. Lunch should be something like a turkey sandwich. Midday snack eat some more fruit, then for dinner, eat before 7pm and don't eat alot of carbs. Eat something like a chicken breast with some vegetables. Be sure you eat what you like or you won't stick to it, just monitor your portion sizes. Think smaller meals, but more of them. Drink LOTS of water throughout the day. Exercise whenever you get the chance. Use the stairs instead of the escalator. Sit on the floor when you watch tv, you burn more calories there (you might just end up doing some situps while you're there) Try to get into the gym or workout every day. Even if you only have about ten minutes, knock out some situps do some leg lunges and maybe some pushups, all back to back for three sets without resting. That will raise your heartrate and get you burning more calories. You should strive to lose one pound a week. That way you won't get frustrated. If you go for a fad diet that gets you to cut alot of weight at once, you will gain it back, guaranteed. Good luck and stick with it. You will look and feel great.

Follow my diet below and you'll lose 20 lbs a month.

The first things you want to eliminate from what you eat are: sugar, fried foods, and white flour. You want to eat as natural and unprocessed food as possible.

Sugar, anything with it is bad. From Coco-Crispies cereal, nearly all sodas, to a small bag a M&M's. All turn into body fat fairly quickly.

Fried foods. Chips, french fries, etc. All have very high levels of calories and fats. Cut out mayonaisse and butter while you're at it.

White flour. White breads, spahgetti, Ramen noodles, most cereals, tortillas (corn & flour).

You're going to want to eat 5-7 small meals/snacks in a day. That may seem like a lot of eating, but look at it this way. Say your lost in the woods and you need to make a fire that will last all night. Will the fire last longer throwing all the wood you've collected into the fire once or twice during the night, or if you toss a couple of logs in once every 45 minutes-hour?

Your body is pretty similar. You need to feed it a little bit every 2-3 hours to keep it burning fat. The longer you go in between meals, the more likely your body is going to store what you eat as fat. This is because your body doesn't realize that there is food everywhere in the world we live in. It still thinks your a cave-man. And cave-men didn't get to eat very often. Sometimes once every 3-5 days...starving. So our body is designed to store what we eat as fat, because fat has the most energy (calories) per pound. So, if you sleep all night, then skip breakfast and don't eat until lunch at say 11:30am...you probably haven't ate anything in 12+ hours. So, your body thinks your starving, that there is no food to eat. Then you eat a nice, greasy, calorie-loaded slice of pizza. Your body will then store most of it as fat because it thinks there is a food shortage.

Aim for 250-300 calories at each meal/snack.

Also try to eat 20-30 grams of protein at each meal. And of course, your going to want to keep even healthy carbs to a minimum (less than 80 grams a day).

    The healthiest carbs are:

    Yams

    Oatmeal (no sugar)

    Sweet Potatoes

    Brown Rice

    OK carbs are:

Whole-grain bread/buns/tortillas (whole-grain should be the first name on the ingredients list)

    Fruits

Aside from the carbs listed above, your meals should consist of:

    Chicken breast

    Turkey breast

    Tuna

    Salmon

    Egg whites

    Almonds

    Low-fat cheese (cottage, string cheese)

    Lots of vegtables

    Lots of water

You need to drink 1 gallon (128oz)minimum per day. Water is what carries the toxins and fat you burn off out of your body through your urine. It also helps keep you feeling full and does wonders for your skin. If your urine isn't clear like water, drink more.

Also, take a multi-vitamin (like Centrum).

If you were to do cardio like ride a bike or jog for 20-45 minutes everyday AND diet, you'll be several sizes smaller in no time. But remember, losing weight is 90% about what you eat, not how much you exercise.

Bodybuilders and fitness models basically eat this way. Not only is it low calorie, low carb, high in protein and natural...it controls your blood/sugar levels and how your body uses the food based on the glycemic index.

PS+ take a thermogenic fat burner also (hyrdroxycut, xenedrine, etc). Just remember to drink more water.

And have 1 cheat meal a week. Gorge yourself on a couple monster burgers, pizza, or french fries...it doesn't matter. It will taste better than it EVER has and also give your mind and body a break.

Also, if you can lift weights (circut train) 3x a week.

by the way I DIDNT MAKE THIS UP I COPIED IT FROM SOME ONE ELS I have the same problem

    WOW!

    I'm 5'3", in 8th grade, and 130 pounds TOO!!!!

And I'm ALSO looking to lose 10-15lbs! I've tried SO many diets, and things on TV. I even tried 1000 calorie diets, and even tried skipping breakfast. But here is what I have found to work:

    -eat breakfast

-eat only when you're TRULY hungry.

    -eat 2 hours before bed.

    -drink plenty of water

-don't eat and drink things you KNOW you shouldn't eat (like coffee, diet soda, decaf coffee, soda, cake, but an occasional candy is okay.)

-Do 45 minutes of cardio 4 times a week

-Walk for 20 or more minutes 3 times a week.

    * If you follow this, you'll eat 1400-1800 calories a day

*You'll stop craving candies in a few days (I stopped my cravings for candy and cake in 5 days!)

if you want to lose 10-15 lbs by june 8th, you're going to have to work hard.

run for at least 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week. during the last 5 minutes of your workout, sprint hard. remember, it doesn't matter how far or for how long you run...it only matters how HARD you run. so make sure those last 5 minutes are brutal.

eat less calories! the only way to lose fat is to use more calories than you eat. popcorn is a low calorie snack (not popcorn from the theater). stop drinking juice, soda, or coffee. only water now. cottage cheese is low calorie. vegetables are good. thin slices of meat (sandwich meat) are good too. keep the calories low, run, and you'll make it.

In the short term, you need to begin to exercise and get on a diet. I have seen a diet that claims you can lose up to 9lbs every 11 days. It includes an on-line diet generator which tells you exactly what to eat and when. It's at www.UltraSimpleFatLoss.com.

Now about keeping the body after you have lost weight ... you need to ensure that you don't go back to your old habits once the weight loss period is over.

    Good Luck!

Just watch what you eat-lots of fruits and veggies, but stay away from red meats. Fish are also good to eat, or if you want to eat meat just eat small portions. its not always what food you eat but how much you eat of it. and also dont skip any meals that not good

Drink alot of cold water too it helps burn calories. Take a fast walk or jog around your block after school and maybe do crunches before bed.

    GOOD LUCK
