For Beatles fans: End of Beatles´s songs?

I've heard the same songs on the radio and on Cds. The end of those songs are a little longer. Do you know why?

Some examples are Mr moonlight and You won't see me.

Sometimes there is a 'radio' version of a song that the DJs play and the public doesn't get. I have a DJ copy of "Penny Lane" with 3 extra seconds of the trumpet trilling at the end. See if any of those collections of Beatle outtakes might have the versions you heard.

Some songs have FADE OUTS. This means they repeat a line and slowly it gets lower and lower.

Other songs were recorded twice or edited twice, once for the album and one for the single. There are few of those but there are some.

When there are fade outs radio stations just end the song before the fade out completes. Sometimes they talk over it.

    I hope this helps you.

the radio stations have to edit the songs to play in a certain time so they sometimes cut the songs short
