I imported videos to imovie9 and they are all blurry (pixelated). That happens before the video is exported to any other application (when they are still projects). The videos were filmed in the afternoon. However the quality is good when I connect my camera to the TV or when a relative imports the same videos to final cut pro. Any ideas? I searched for a solution on the internet but nobody knows what to do.

Today in the evening, I stopped having internet connection in my desktop. The linksys monitor was scanning all the time and it didn,t find any connection. It says that cannot connect to the acess point but the adaptor is active. Everytime I click on profiles, the linksys monitor closes giving me the choice send/don,t send. It happened before but it fixed itself. I tried restarting and unplugging the adpater but nothing The wireless connection works because a laptop has wireless connection.

Should I wait? Should I unistall and reinstall?

I have a router (linksys) and two computers and (one is wireless). If I switch from one internet provider to another one, do I need to configure the wireless connection again or I just need plug and use?

The fan located behind my desktop (not the DVD player fan) started to sound louder. Also it moved slower. Although I cleaned my desktop with compressed air (most of it) it didn't work. Today I heard the same sound but after 2 hours, the fan is working OK. Do you think I should get a new fan?

My desktop sounded like and old machine. I used a compressed air and I cleaned the mess inside. It's has been working good...for now (5 hours).

The problem is that some sticky dust that can't be removed from the rear fans and there's some dust in the central fan that can't be completely removed with the can. How can I remove that without damaging anything?

What kind of video capture hardware and software would you recommend me for uploading videos (USB) from DVDs and V8mm to the computer? I am not a professional. I am talking about something like "one touch video capture VC500". I would like something that doesn't drain all the power from other usb ports.

I got a 17" monitor. It's a Samsung 770TFT.

If I set the screen resolution in 1024x768, there is like black frame around. If I set the screen resolution at 1280x1024, the screen is full and everything looks sharp.

1280x1024 is the maximum resolution my computer has and I want to know if my computer's performance will be affected if I choose it (speed, RAM, anything)?

I formatted my computer a week ago.

I was watching a video on google video (firefox) and someone tried to contact me using videocall (windows live messenger). I clicked on accept and my computer restarted. After that I say a little windows about an error and two options: Send and Don´t send. After that incident, I tried to use firefox and it work. I tried video call (without firefox) and it worked, too.

Do I need more memory?

I've seen some concerts in which there are two synchronized drummers. I'm not talking about a drummer and a percussionist like in Pink Floyd's Pulse. I am talking about concerts like Harrison's Concert For Bangladesh (1971) and Pink Floyd's The Wall live (1980-1981).

1. Is this software safe? Does it come with "surprises" (spywares, adwares, virus, trojans) when you install it and after that like some softwares like kazaa?

2. I heard it's a p2p (peer to peer) software like kazaa and Ares. I had bad experiences with both. Is p2p safe

3. Is skype free to download? Is there any fee to make calls? I ask this because I got mixed information.

4. I know you get skype from skype.com. Is there more than one version or kind of Skype? if yes, which one is better for windows xp sp2?

5. Does Skype has videocall? What's the difference between Windows live misseger and Skype?

In the episode "Welcome to the working week" from season 3, you can see a Rockstar games sticker in the refrigerator. I also saw the characters wearing jackets and t shirts with the Rockstar logo.

Have you seen more advertising in that show or other shows? What about movies (like Back to the future)?

I have Avast antivirus and today it says there was a malware win32 trojan gen (again) once the linksys icon for my linksys wireless adapter started (when Windows started). I put "no action" because I already had a false alert last month every time I went to yahoo.com but they resolved that problem in the next update. I am not not the only one with the linksys problem because one person in avast forums had a similar problem like me.

I waited until avast updated itself, I deleted internet temporary files then scanned my computer and nothing was detected. I even turned it off and on again and no alarm.

Is Avast really accurate or not? I would like your opinions.

I prefer to ask instead of staying ignorant. What is Java Platform Standard Edition? A relative downladed it because he needed for a class online (Suffolk University). Is it going to affect my computer for bad?

My computer is using a cable modem, a linksys wireless g adapter and a Linksys router (wrt54g). My brother wants to use the same connection for his laptop but we can't connect it. He's using a verizon adapter (don't use it) which shows sometimes the connection and the network connection in the taskbar says that another application is being using for wireless connection.

My other brother didn't have any problem with his mac.

After a canon Xti has been bought about two weeks ago, the camera only takes some pictures before the message "replace battery" appears on the screen and the shutter button doesn't work. Could the batery be problem? Could it be the CF card (from a older canon powershot). Could it be both the problem?

After charging the battery completely, the camera works but as I said, only for a short time.
