Linksys adaptor not working?

Today in the evening, I stopped having internet connection in my desktop. The linksys monitor was scanning all the time and it didn,t find any connection. It says that cannot connect to the acess point but the adaptor is active. Everytime I click on profiles, the linksys monitor closes giving me the choice send/don,t send. It happened before but it fixed itself. I tried restarting and unplugging the adpater but nothing The wireless connection works because a laptop has wireless connection.

Should I wait? Should I unistall and reinstall?

Update:

Actually I replaced the USB cable. It was a little damaged.

Sounds like some files are corrupted. You have to uninstall and reinstall the Linksys network software. Or just uninstall and you can configure network (LAN and wireless) with windows control panel

sounds like you should uninstall and re-install.

You probably do not need the linksys monitor, if you are using windows. The built-in wireless utility should be able to handle your wireless connection just as well, and without crashing so much.
