Is Hunter Pence worth holding on to?
Alright here is my situation, I have the following outfielders:
1. Matt Holiday
2. Alex Rios
3. Josh Hamilton
4.Torii Hunter
5. Carl Crawford
6. Skip Schumaker
7. Hunter Pence
I'm working out a deal that would get me Aramis Ramirez at 3B for Rios. But even then, is Pence worth holding onto? Even when he gets going, I already have Schumaker who is getting the same stats as Pence would (minus a few stolen bases). I'm really needing to pickup a pitcher, what do y'all think?

I'm holding him...
that's the problem with projections, what he go at 54 or something... after a partial rookie season with decent stats the experts are tripping over themselves with adoration... so I draft him high with no real track record and boom, he's stinkin' up the joint.
we don't know, in this his sophomore year, if he'll turn it around. there's just not enough history to go on.
anyway I wouldn't drop him for pitching... I'd trade him for at least a pitcher you wouldn't find on the waiver wire.

He is definitely worth holding on to. He will get it going and I would rather have Pence than Schumaker any day.

Patienice with Pence. He should come around and with the line up that Houston has he should but up some nice numbers.
