you have chosen that through your service provide, you will be charged for it monthly.
So if you dont want it, call your provide to turn that service off.

haha. did you just get your cellphone? default should not be a song if it was bought from a actual vendor such as Altell or Sprint.
If anything. Check your phone "settings" > look for a "ring style" or something to that likeness. and change your ringtone to one you want
you can also add songs to your phone via a program...such as "access apps" for altell users. every phone provider has a certain program to allow the option. unless you have a old phone without that option...if there isn't a camera or color...its an old phone.

The same thing happened to me I have T-mobile and I added the ring back thing to my phone and they put the default song on my phone. You can contact your cell phone carrier and tell them to take it off. Or you can go on line and just change the song that plays.

Some carriers have this as an optional feature with a name something like "Ringback tones." Just call up your wireless carrier and ask them to disable it, shouldn't be very hard for them to do. In the US, just dial 611 and you'll get your cell phone carrier's customer service.

It sounds like you have a ringback tone commonly provided by Verizon..If this is the case, you can give them a call to find out how to go back to normal ringing or visit the help section on your provider's website.

u can go 2 the site of ur cell phone carrier and change the default settings to just ring

If you have an account online with your cellular provider you can go there and remove the ringback tone from your account, but if you don't then you will have to call customer service and have them do it for you.

It sounds like you are on, T-Mobile or 3, you are being charged for this service, call customer services on 150 (T-Mobile) or 333 (Three UK) and have them turn it off
