There is a seriously cute Australian product called "Wee Target" that is specifically designed for this.

Wee Targets are "plastic targets that you stick to the inside rim of the toilet to give little boys (and not so little) something to aim for. To make it alot of fun, the targets have heat sensitive black ink spots on them and when the wee hits the target, the black ink 'disappears' to reveal a picture underneath. The targets go back to black once the toilet is flushed, ready for next time".

They are small and light so wouldn't cost much to post o/s. Makes me wish I had a boy!

Throw a couple cheerios into the toilet and he will aim at them!! When I didnt have cheerios accessible I just put a square of toilet paper in the bowl and he aims at that!! I had the same problem until I gave him a target!! Good luck!

haha...Have you tried the cheerios in the toliet and telling him to hit the cheerios...That has worked for me and my friend with her son. He will get better after a while...Hmm or you could try ice? Yeah just something that would interest him to trying to hit the stuff....will him point it down. Good luck

Put fruit loops in the toilet and have him try to hit them. My 3 yr. old loves trying to do that. He thinks its a game.

    I have 5 children (9,7,4,3,2) and I'm pregnant again.

Teach him to sit down to pee. Then he can practice standing up and hitting targets outside.
